SIMPLE REMEDIES FOR NAUSEA AND VOMITING

Nausea and vomiting are the symptoms of different diseases. Sometimes they can be associated with stomach cramps or discomfort. It can be caused due to various causes like reflux, morning sickness in pregnancy, motion sickness, gastritis, stress, food poisoning or induced by chemotherapy. Sensation of nausea and throwing up both makes us feel worse. Here are few home remedies that will help in nausea and vomiting.         Salt & Sugar mixture - In a glass of water, mix 1 tablespoon sugar and a pinch of salt and drink in small sips. This will help to prevent electrolyte imbalance.  Do this once every hour. Cook rice in an open vessel by adding more quantity of water (For ½ cup rice, add 1½ cups water). When rice is cooked, strain it and the starchy liquid can be taken mixed with salt.  Cinnamon & cardamom tea can be taken 2 – 3 times a day. Hypothyroidism is a commonly prevailing disorder. This clinical syndrome results from deficiency of thyroid hormones due to their insufficient synthesis that results in generalized slowing down of  metabolic process. Sinusitis is mostly caused by virus and sometimes by bacteria. However anything that enters the nose and permeates into the sinus will cause sinusitis.
